Story behind the stitches
I am Sushma, the founder of Nimmala Lifestyle—a brand created by a mother, for mothers. This brand is dedicated to my mother, Nirmala. My grandmother lovingly called her Nimma, and from that affection, Nimmala was born.
This brand is my dream, one that I am finally pursuing. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters who have grown into incredible women and have now flown from the nest to create their own worlds. All these years, my priority was to be there for them—through every milestone, every moment of need. Now that they are grown and building their own lives, it is time for me to give wings to my dream.
Even though my daughters have grown up, as a mother, I cherish the memories of their childhood. These memories inspired me to create personalized quilts from baby clothes—a tangible way for mothers to preserve the irreplaceable moments of their child’s early years.
I understand how fleeting yet precious these moments are. Our babies will always be special to us, and through Nimmala Lifestyle, I want to help mothers cherish those memories forever. I believe in crafting baby clothes using soothing, sustainable fabrics, particularly organic cottons like muslin, ensuring not just comfort for our little ones but also a healthier future for Mother Earth.
Our Vision
To redefine the concept of baby keepsakes, offering pure, sustainable, and personalized treasures that encapsulate the essence of childhood. We envision a world where every keepsake is not just a testament to love and connection but also a symbol of our commitment to environmental stewardship.
Our Mission
We craft more than just clothing—we create cherished memories. Each stitch is infused with love and thoughtfulness, transforming our personalized baby clothes into treasured keepsakes that capture the precious moments of early childhood.
